Certerra Appoints Don Piliero as Vice President of Information Technology

Certerra is pleased to announce that Don Piliero has joined the organization as our Vice President of Information Technology, supporting the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.

In this role, Don will lead Certerra’s technology strategy and enterprise IT operations, with a focus on advancing infrastructure modernization, strengthening cybersecurity, and enabling scalable growth across the organization. He will also play a key role in integrating technology across acquisitions, ensuring alignment with Certerra’s long-term business objectives and growth strategy.

Don brings more than 20 years of experience driving technology strategy and large-scale digital transformation within high-growth, publicly traded AEC organizations. His expertise spans M&A technology integrations, SEC compliance, cybersecurity, and IT auditing. Throughout his career, he has led enterprise IT operations, overseeing teams of 35 professionals and successfully integrating more than 80 acquisitions across 100+ locations while managing multimillion-dollar budgets.

He is recognized for his ability to align technology roadmaps with business priorities, build high-performing teams, and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support scalable growth. Don holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) through the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
