Certerra Appoints Alex Sabetta as Instrumentation & Monitoring Division President

Certerra is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Sabetta as Instrumentation and Monitoring Division President.

Alex steps into this role following a decades-long career delivering complex engineering solutions across residential, transportation, water, wastewater, and industrial infrastructure projects. His leadership, technical depth, and experience with advanced instrumentation and monitoring systems position him to guide the division’s continued growth and innovation.

Throughout his career, Alex has served in roles ranging from apprentice carpenter to resident and lead site engineer on major infrastructure projects. His experience includes large-scale water and wastewater conveyance systems, wastewater treatment plant upgrades, major bridge oversight, and extensive demolition and blasting operations in urban environments. Alex’s work has earned national recognition, including the 2013 ACEC New York Engineering Excellence Award and Demolition of the Year honors from the National Demolition Association. Certerra looks forward to the future of the Instrumentation & Monitoring Division under Alex’s leadership as the firm continues delivering data-driven, innovative solutions across diverse markets.
