Mitzi Burkinshaw Joins Certerra As Chief Human Resources Officer

Certerra is proud to announce Mitzi Burkinshaw as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Mitzi brings more than 25 years of international and domestic experience, driving best-in-class performance through the implementation of culture initiatives, HR policies, operational efficiencies, and talent management.

Mitzi recently served as Vice President of Human Resources at SGS North America, Inc. where she developed a comprehensive strategy focused on employee experience, culture, and HR partnership, supporting an $800 million firm with more than 5,500 employees.

As Chief HR Officer, Mitzi will play a pivotal role in developing the people strategy and building a HR team, focused on delivering value to the business through creating a strong operational partnership, implementing process improvements and fostering a culture around talent management.

Mitzi will be based in Houston, Texas, and will report to Ed Lyon, Chief Executive Officer.
